The Crier

Christian was appointed as Haslemere's Town Crier on May Bank Holiday Monday in 2010 during the Charter Fare.

He was asked to fill this appointment as it was felt with his 22 year service in the Household Cavalry, during which he passed the 16 weeks riding school and went on to ride in parades such as The Queen Mother's State Funeral, The Queen's Golden Jubilee, The Queen's Birthday Parade and State Visits.  Most of his time Christian served in the operational Regiment and served around the world including operational tours in Bosnia, Northern Ireland and Cyprus.
